In addition to our Ambulance service, we also offer a wheelchair handivan service that specializes in transporting patients to and from their homes, medical facilities, or other assisted living facilities.
Base Rate:
One way regular transportation: $68
One way holiday, non-medical transporation: $100
Holiday rate is effective on the following days:

Memorial Day Labor Day Independence Day Easter Sunday
Christmas Day Christmas Eve Thanksgiving
*Holiday rate is only for non-medical transportation, such as transportation to a home for a family visit or a restaurant. *For normal medical transportation, such as a hospital discharge, the regular rate applies.
Mileage:
Rate per mile: $5.00
This mileage rate is calculated from center to town center, use our mileage book.
There is no charge for transportation between a city listed below and the cities or or towns contiguous them (i.e. Stamford to Darien; Bridgeport to Trumbull; North Haven to Wallingford):

Extra Attendent:
Per attendant (companion): $40
Per attendant (assist): $40
The patient's wieght will determine the number of attendants needed for transportation up stairs at a residence or office. Use the following guide:
0 - 250 lbs - 1 extra attendant
251 - 375 lbs - 2 extra attendants
376 - 450 lbs - 3 extra attendants
Night Charge:
This is a $15 charge for transportation between 9pm and 5am.
