Vehicle Operator Standards
Driver Eligibility Criteria:

- Must have a minimum of 5 years U.S. driving experience.
- Minimum Age 25. (Exceptions are on a referral basis to underwriter)
- Must have proper license as required by law to operate vehicle.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience operating similar type vehicles or completion of an approved driver training program.

Maximum Standards for Drivers:

VIOLATIONS*

No more than 2 minor violations in past 36 months.
No more than 1 minor violation in past 12 months.

* Does not include violations involving drugs or alcohol, reckless driving, license suspension, negligent driving, etc. Violations of these types will normally make the driver unacceptable.

Accidents*

No more than 1 accident in past 36 months.

* A preventable accident is any traffic accident which results in property damage and/or personal injury, regardless of who was injured, what property was damaged, to what extent, or where it occurred, in which the driver in question failed to exercise every reasonable precaution or action to avoid the accident. Driving to avoid preventable accidents is defensive driving. The fact that the driver was not charged with a traffic violation by law enforcement is not part of our definition.

Combination of violations & accidents

No more than 1 minor violation in past 36 months and 1 accident in past 36 months.
