- 1991 - Montowese Handivan & Chaircar Service created to service the patients of Montowese Healthcare.
- 1995 - Montowese Handivan & Chaircar Service changed names and became incorporated as Connecticut Handivan
- 1995- Access Ambulance Company created through a joint venture between GEMS & SEMS
- 1999 - EFK of Connecticut was incorporated and purchased Nelson Ambulance Service from Danbury Ambulance Service
- 2003 - Nelson Ambulance Service adds 4 ambulances and 1 chaircar to fleet
- 2003 - Nelson Ambulance Service opens North Haven Branch Location
- 2007 - SKMP Enterprises was incorporated and purchased Access Ambulance Company
- 2007 - Access Ambulance Company changes name to Access Ambulance Service
- 2008 - Access Ambulance Service moves Stamford Branch to 64 Magee Ave
- 2009 - Access Ambulance Service moves Greenwich Branch to 5 Perryridge Rd
